Lazy Sunday

The Steelers are going to the Super Bowl. How ya love that! Oscah released his MADSOUL Mixtape Vol 1 available for FREE Download while supplies last. I'm writing my first exam.I saw Marsha Ambrosius at The Park on Friday.

Let's start with Marsha. Two nights before the event, I found out that Marsha Ambrosius would be performing live at The Park. There actually was not much to that night. Honestly! The room was so packed that I had to go to the 4th floor to view the band from the balcony. I had a pretty good spot for several reasons. Number one, despite how packed it was, I could still look down and see everything. Secondly I was standing in front of her VIP section where I saw her stuffing her face the whole time. I thought it was funny. It was show time and everyone pushed their way to the front. This is where it got ignorant. We had some really loud chicks push there way in front of me and my crew. We were standing right behind the camera man, giving him enough room to do what he was hired to do. Well these chicks pushed their way up and did the thing that women do--flirt with the people on staff to secure their spot or make it look like they are cool with them. WOMP! WOMP! So not only did they push their way up but they were not cute and they were loud. How you be loud and not cute. Not a good combination for the feminine species.

Fellas, some of you all aren't any better. Now I like the Park because it's actually a place where you can converse. So I expect a different caliber of people there than I would at an all out sweat it out club. Remember the camera man? OK. So some dude reaches between where I am standing and taps the camera man on the shoulder. OK, they must know each other. He pushes his way up and has a 2 second conversation with the the camera man. Now he is standing in my way obstructing my view and my guests view. Then he leaves to get a drink. The clown comes back and starts feeling on the camera mans back. I fall back because I thought that must have been his boo or something. We are in DC. You never know. So basically I heard Marsha's performance but didn't see it, which completely ruined the experience. There was way too much conversation going on on the 4th floor. SMH

Here's a video of what took place right under my nose but I missed. I gotta admit, I was jammin' when she sang the demo version of Butterflies. Shout out to Briggs Management and Beny Blaq Entertainment

I'm this cat's biggest fan. Well, actually I can't be because his wife is. Still my boy Oscah has released his MADSOUL Mixtape Vol. 1. If you like soul music and are tired of the craziness on the radio then you may want to check him out. I'm a big fan of the tracks Don't Stop Your Love, I NEED U, So Far, and All The Way. Even though those are my favorites the mixtape will take you on a journey from start to finish. You can download the album while supplies last here or on YouTube. Also be sure to follow him @iamsoul and peep the Facebook Page .

The Steelers are going to the Super Bowl! Enough said.

I'm giving my first exam on Wednesday. Peep the next blogosode of Life & Times of Professor Curry where I will dish out all the dirty and the adventures of my new role. It's going to be bananas.
