I remember years ago when I was up late with Brian Americus talking about U.N.I. We talked about having Christian artists rocking our clothes on TV. Here we are years later and look what God did. Big up to William "The Ambassador" Branch for showing support and rocking the U.N. Eye design. This is a pretty heavy interview because he and his wife went through a critical struggle in their marriage. I don't want to take away the focus of how God has restored them but I'm glad that some good came out of it--for them and for the U.N.I brand. #BOOM Also Mr. 129 himself--Royalty just released the video for his next single Gotta Get It featuring Chris Ray. So I'm about to take my first step into conquering this city. I'm not in the city but while I wait for my final interview, I need to look for a place to live. My plan is to find a summer sublease then by the end of July find a more permanent spot. This way I can save money my first couple of months living in the city. Time is ticking. Knowing that this in NYC, I expect prices to be high for next to nothing type space. Still people are making it work. This is my journey to see if I can make it work. I visited one place while I was there last week but I was not impressed. I got off the phone with one offer out in the East Village and I don't like to be rushed into making a decision. So my search continues. Like I said, there are people making it work so why can't I. In other news there really is no other news. Two teams I don't really care for have made it to the Finals and I hate being on the fence about what team I want to see win. I'll leave it at that. One of ...

I think I caught it: the twitter bug. At first I thought it was pointless. As I began to look for people to follow, I remembered my ambitions to help promote my colleagues fashion line. I started to search for famous brands and stores. If I can't come up with ideas I can at least use best practices to see what they are doing online. I have to do more of a comprehensive search for fashion products. I did not find many hip hop fashion lines on Twitter so there may be an opportunity for promotion there. We shall see. I just did a content analysis or what the average person would refer to as surfing the Web to learn more about Burson-Marsteller. I met one of their practitioners last summer and she put me in touch with the head of HR at their Chicago office. I applied to the internship so we will see what happens. One thing I was thinking about: I don't know how long I want to go without benefits. I'd love to work with Ruder Finn because they seem to have a first class training ...
