It's been awhile since I've done a "Just 2 Be Funny" post. So I'm coming back at you all with some hilarity and ignorance that you wouldn't believe existed had you not seen it on the Internet somewhere. Thanks to Complex magazine and others here is Volume I don't know what number I'm on. Here's a creative quote for your year book. I blogged about this video over a year ago and have been looking for the post ever since. I've come to the conclusion that I don't think I'll find it--well at least that's my cop out for wanting to spend my time doing something more productive than look for a blog post. I love using random images and saying radom things just to throw people off. I guess you can say its my specialty when I'm in the right frame of mind. I spent my night applying to an Academic Counselor position with George Mason and going through my routine of finding modeling gigs on craigslist. As far as the Dream Talent Show I had to cancel practice this week because one of the guys in the band is sick. We had a good rehearsal last week so I'm confident that we can kill it with one more rehearsal. I got a job in retail. The only thing that I can say is that so far it has proven itself to be another job where no matter how hard you work, you get the same result. I'm keeping hope alive. I'm going on my first full year of living at home and close to 4 months without any consistent type of work. I've never seen my bank account get this low. The unemployment office has yet to schedule my screening interview and I was supposed to recieve my benefits back in August. ...

So apparently the video I found on Black Marriage Negotiations a couple of blogs earlier is a trend. I found several more videos that embellish similar themes. Although I don't agree with everything, they are hilarious to me because of the themes they perpetuate. Enjoy!

Well not really, I just had to find a clever title for this post. This song confirms the virture that one should pray for their enemies. I fluctuate on whether I should applaud Tyler Perry for his contribution to black filmaking or if I should shake my head in how his characters are so predictable and extra. Truth be told I can't knock his hustle and I'm pretty sure I'll turn into a groupie if I met him #jussaying. So what's that got to do with this next video? Well one of his cast members appeared on Divorce Court and by the display of what took place in court, I didn't know if Tyler Perry produced the show or if those people were for real. You be the judge:

As soon as I got tagged on Facebook for this video, I tagged every young black male under the age of 18 that I knew to this video and told them to never let this happen to them. The viral craze of Antoine Dodson and his remix may have overshadowed the new phase of ridiculous called 50 Tyson but never the less please peep what I am referring to. I hope you got your laugh in. In my effort use this video as an example for the youth--our leaders of today--to stay in school,I got a few rebuttals. One person told me that he was autistic and another told me not to make fun of him because he is slow. I tend to miss the mark when it comes to being sensitive, but I could not help but wonder a few things. Common sense tells me that if he was smart enough to turn the camera on, or at least smart enough to get someone to help him, smart enough to use the video function and post this mug on YouTube, then he is an equal opportunity candidate for me to blast the unprecedented ignorance of his perf...

I started my week off with this. What other wise would have been a newsworthy story based on its unusual nature, evolved into an even more newsworthy story because the interviewer felt the need to talk to the suspect directly on camera. Shaking my head. What takes the cake is the remix video that followed said incident. The interview in this video has now expanded my list of things not to do infront of white people right after not eating watermelon while walking across the street. One day you'll understand. I've seen many conversations via facebook about this story and remix so now its just a matter of how long it will last. I gave a shout out to the Very Smart Brothas earlier today and happened to find another blog that I can't agree with more in Stuff Black People Hate . Unfortunately the site is no longer host new posts. So, to honor it's witty humor and honest social commentary, I will now invite you to check out a post that had me dying laughing. It's about the names black people give their children. This is a topic of conversation that will never get old amongst brothers and sisters. Just when I think my people have moved forward, I meet another kid at my youth center with a name will alert every future employer what race he or she is, or a name that will only work well if he or she becomes an entertainer of sorts. In the words of my manz Tha Victor, "I got gas but it aint petroleum." Call it a sign of getting old. I don't know what it is. I eat the same things I've always eaten and my body reacts in ridiculous ways. I've had so many embarassing moments at this youth center with my flatulence--well they should be thought of as embarrasing--that I don't even bother to think about it anymore. I just let her rip. I have moments where the kids sitting next to me during a game scream out "Eww who cut the cheese," happen at least twice a week. Cunningly, I ask the same question and nonchalantly shrug it off until that one bold child says"I think it was Mr. Gordon." I slyly turn the tables on that individual and get the kids to rally around me as I accuse the bold child of cutting the cheese.
